Girl in Conch Shell Necklace

This piece is a work in progress. She has more layers to be applied, but I kind of like her softness right now, so I wanted to share her with you. Plus, I've always thought it was fun to see the stages an artist goes through when completing a painting. Sometimes the first version is the best one. I will find out tomorrow.... hope you had a nice Sunday!!

Ten Women Members in the Press

It's not every day that two of our gallery members are written about in the LA Times -- check out this wonderful review of "Silent Witness" featuring the work of photographer Fae Horowitz and painter Robyn Feeley.

Melissa Moss's wonderful paintings were recently featured in Fit Pregnancy (above) and in many other venues including, Domino Magazine, Decor8 and Apartment Therapy. You can also read interviews about Melissa and see her studio on Poppytalk and Cookie Magazine.

Painter Cathy Nichols has also garnered lots of press recently -- her artwork graced the cover of Long Island magazine, Canvas, for April -- and her artwork has been featured in places like Real Simple, Domino Magazine, Decor8, and Poppytalk.

Ten Women Venice Welcomes Robyn Feeley!!

"Year of the Pig" by Robyn Feeley

One look at the portfolio of artist Robyn Feeley and you may be asking "Why Paint Animals?" Robyn's response would most likely be, why not!? Inspired by the raw beauty and unconditional love that emanates from the animals, her whimsical pastel portraits truly capture the essence of each animal. This self-taught artist has an uncommon approach to her work. Her ability to think outside the box allows her artwork to be free and quite fluid. Her style is truly unique. Working from photographs and personality descriptions, Robyn has been delighting her clients from New York to LA since 2003.

"Painted Cat" by Robyn Feeley

Robyn is active in her community as a member of the Topanga Chamber of Commerce, the Malibu Art Association and the Arizona Artist Guild. She is also a member of the Topanga Canyon Gallery, The Red Dog Gallery in Phoenix, The Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock CA and the newest member to Ten Women Venice! Robyn shares her Topanga canyon home with her 14 year old son Max, 3 rescue dogs and a miniature pot belly pig named Frank.
Visit Robyn's on the web at

Welcome, Robyn!! We are so glad to have you at the gallery!!!
